Installation instructions for mechanical seal of mortar pump

The mechanical seal of mortar pump is a very strict and precise component. Improper assembly will affect the sealing performance of centrifugal pump. To install correctly, the following points must be paid attention to:

Installation and technical requirements of mechanical seal of centrifugal pump

1. Technical requirements for the coordination of machine, pump and mechanical seal:

a. The shaft curvature shall not exceed 0.05mm

b. All parts in the component meet the requirements of the drawing. When tightening the gland, it shall be carried out after the alignment of the coupling, and the compression screws shall be tightened to prevent the deflection of the flange surface.

c. The vibration runout of the shaft at the place where the mechanical seal is installed shall not be greater than 0.1mm c. The axial displacement of the shaft shall not be greater than 0.5mm

d. The manufacturing tolerance of the shaft where the mechanical seal is installed is H8 and the finish is 1.6

e. The end of the shaft (shaft sleeve) for installing the moving ring seal ring and the end of the sealing gland (or shell) for the quiet ring seal ring shall be chamfered and polished.

2. According to the installation requirements of mechanical seal for pump, the moving ring must be able to move flexibly on the shaft after installation.
